The Word for 2012
by david bryan on 01/24/12
2012
According to
Biblical numeric’s (the study and understanding of numbers and their meaning
and values in accordance with Scripture), the number 12 is a VERY significant
number and it always surrounded the government of God and the establishment and
exercising of God’s power and authority in the earth…
There are 12
thrones in the Heavens, 12 apostles, 12 pillars at the tabernacle, 12 sons of
Jacob, and 12 tribes and 12 stones at the memorial made to commemorate the crossing
of JORDAN into the Promised Land….
When it came
to time to establish His authority among men, Jesus chose 12, making a very
clear statement. You may be thinking
what I was thinking… I know what you’re
thinking… “…one of those chosen 12 failed,” and that they did… which actually
made 11 for a time. While we are there,
11 is an interesting number also, and it’s quite the opposite of 12. The number 11 has to do with disorder, rebellion,
chaos and unruliness. That’s interesting
because many reading this word have come out of a season and a year that
defined that number in a very specific way…
Yes, there
were 12 chosen disciples of God, God intended to use these men and the
characteristics that they possessed (the good and the bad), to establish His
Kingdom in the earth. Of the 12, one was
a rebel- his name was Judas and Judas represented all that mocked the promise
and power of God. He sold the rights to Jesus’ whereabouts for a paycheck and
was as disloyal as a person can be. Judas was the traitor, the betrayer, and
the black sheep if there ever were one.
Judas seemed to mock the plan of God, even in his death, he left the
number of disciples depleted and the morale of many of Christ’s followers
beaten down to a literal nothing…
This has
been the case among so many over the last several months… the enemy has crept
in and planted the kiss of Judas on the cheek of the promises of God in many
lives… it seemed all was lost and we were left with 11 ( chaos, loneliness, ruin, and despair). The
year 2011-though blessed, has been one of chaos and disorder in many ways…
naturally, economically, socially, and spiritually… it almost seems that 2011
was the kiss of Judas as we have watched so many people walk away from core
Biblical principles and values, while touting agendas that are not only offensive,
but anti-God. Yes 11 was and may still be for some- a number to reckon with…
BUT one number makes the difference between chaos and Kingdom authority!
Just as the
apostles of the New Testament church gathered to fast and pray until Judas was
replaced by Mathias, I believe that the Spirit of God is gathering the people
of God together in this coming season of establishment and we are going to
experience the replacements of what seemed to have been lost in this past
season. So it’s okay that the eleventh failed…
God is stirring the hearts of the
hearers and the prayers right now… and by prayer, fasting and power that is
being unleashed from the Throne of God, the Spirit will chose a replacement for
what has been lost- in order that His Kingdom be established and operational among men.
Here’s what
I believe we can expect in the coming 12 months of 2012… Of the 12 tribes of Israel and the
characteristics of those tribes, where they lay silent and betrayed… God has
unleashed the spirit of Mathias, the substitute of whom the Scripture says; the
remnant of the eleven gathered in earnest prayer for. It was just after the time of the gathering
of Mathias that the church was born and experienced a great world-wide harvest. Before Mathias, there was a small but noteworthy
point of church history where the church lie in limbo and chaos, but once
Mathias was chosen and the Spirit of God drew these men in, they gathered in an
upper room to have a prayer meeting that would forever change the known world.
Maybe there
are gifts and promises lying dormant… Maybe like the disciples and the corresponding
characteristics of the sons of Israel, some of the boldness of Peter, or the
praise of Judah, or the anointing of Simeon, or the provisions of Issachar,
have been dormant and mocked… God’s answer to that is among us!!! Let Judah
arise! Tell the others to get into position, it is the season of Mathias and
God is going to establish His work in the work with great power.
Gifts of God
and grace will be activated and poured out in astounding proportion…. AMEN.
Ministry support
by david bryan on 06/10/11Thanks to everyone that has remembered to stay connected with us here on the international evangelistic field. We had to make some adjustments to our India program this year, and by the grace of God we are moving foward, seeing some tremendous provisions and opportunities. Please keep our ministry in mind as your pray, it is our desire to reach the nations with the gospel; to encourage and strengthen existing ministry, and to empower ministry in the making... To see this continue we need JESUS and we need your faithful support!:)

REVIVAL 2010
by david bryan on 08/14/10What an exciting and eventful year this has been. The term 'revival' (in the very general sense) just would not be sufficient to describe the things that we have been a part of, and the great Awakening that we are witnessing across the United States and around the world. Our 'Empower 2010' meetings have been going very well, it has been so great to see so many people so hungry and so willing to commit to the greater depths of God's Word and Kingdom purpose. There's a lot more ahead in the next few months of this year and we greet these great events with expectation and anticipation for what God will do....
While the world turns...
by david bryan on 06/14/10Watching the daily headlines, hearing the harrowing stories of survivors of the flood in Arkansas, feeling the tension rise and fall over mid-eastern relations and the nation of Israel, watching N. Korea and seeing the hearts of many fail with for these things... I am convinced more than ever that we are the generation that will witness the coming of the Lord! Revival fires are burning all over N. America and around the world. these are exciting times and the Lords word for the church is... "see that you are not troubled." These things must come to pass... but to us they are signs to encourage our faith and strengthen us. Work now friends, be strong in the faith for truly our salvation is nearer! God is on our side- expect the miraculous more than ever before... It's going to be a great summer.
